Artist Trading Cards – also known as ATCs – are fun, economical, friendly and exciting to trade with other friends and collectors. ATCs can be created in any medium and with any techniques the artist wishes to use.
For this workshop, we will be creating our images or ideas in watercolor and drawing afterwards with archival, waterproof Micron pens. And for an extra creative project, we will create bookmarks in watercolor and pen, too. Supplies of trading cards, bookmark watercolor papers, plastic sleeves and tassels will be provided.
Workshop Supplies:
- Scrap watercolor paper 140lbs Arches
- Masking fluid (Pebeo; Frisket)
- Watercolor small round brushes sizes 1; 2; 4 and script liner or rigger
- Regular palette of watercolor paint (Winsor Newton; Daniel Smith; American Journey; Holbein)
- Q-tips precision tips paper stick cotton swabs (can find in Beauty section of pharmacy or store)
- Water cups
- Dr. Martin’s Bleed-Proof White
- Viva paper towels or tissue with no lint
- Sakura Pigma Micron archival ink waterproof pens sizes 01 or 02 (I will have a few to share during the workshop)
- Gold or Silver pens for accents
