FIRST WORKSHOP OF THE YEAR –
Barbara Rios be leading the January 28 workshop on Weaving. Not only will basic weaving be shown, but more advanced weaving with a variety of shapes will be demonstrated.
**New instruction: on two 8″x8″ pieces of watercolor paper, draw a simple object (butterfly, flower, fish, etc.) on one and trace it to the other sheet. Paint one. Bring both sheets.
Materials: bring several “failed” paintings to trade, cut up or use the backs to paint on; scissors, glue (Yes, Elmers, etc), masking tape, clear tape, and a ruler. If you want to experiment, bring unusual things you may want to weave into your piece (yarn, leaves , etc.) Think outside the box!
Bring something to eat and drink. AND your regular watercolors supplies. Class runs from 10-2-please do not arrive more than 15 minutes early!
