Watercolor Portraits
Focus on Features with Linda Neal

Linda will be teaching the art of portrait painting in watercolor. She will cover how to create natural skin tones and painting realistic eyes, noses and mouths. If you are new to portraits this will be a great introduction or if you have been painting portraits a great refresher!

Bring your regular supplies, watercolor paper and palette, a #10 round brush with a good point and Winsor Newton paints, New Gamboge (light yellow) and Scarlet Lake (red) which produce good flesh tones. Your other paints are fine. We’ll trace the photo in class.  Linda’s preference is Arches #300 pound cold press paper.  Please print the attached photo on 8.5 x 11 paper.  To register, please send email to Laurie at lbgriffi@att.net.  Attendance is limited to 24.
