The Brevard Watercolor Society’s 25th Annual Watercolor show, “Splash of Watercolor”, will be held Saturday and Sunday, February 15th and 16th, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This event will take place at the Azan Shrine Temple, 1591 W. Eau Gallie Boulevard, Melbourne, FL. Admission and parking are free.
“Splash of Watercolor” will feature the largest exhibit and sale of watercolor paintings in Brevard County. Nearly 100 local artists, many who have state and nationally-acclaimed works, will be represented at the show.
Original, framed artwork will be available for sale in the main hall. In the Artists’ Marketplace, prints, cards, and unframed originals will also be available for sale. Ongoing activities include raffle baskets, silent auction, and a paint-around with participants finishing each other’s paintings which are available for sale.
Several demonstration events are scheduled during the “Splash of Watercolor” weekend show. All are entertaining and educational (and sometimes hilarious).
