Small Works Prospectus & Entry
Entries must be delivered to the Azan Temple on Friday, February 16, between 9:00-10:00am.
“Favorite Things”
We enjoyed the Small Works category so much last year we’re going to do it again with a few modifications! This year we want you to share your favorite things! You can paint anything that you love, that inspires you.
Small Works is an education fundraiser for BWS. You will purchase a 12” x 12” frame (for an 8” x 8” image) from BWS for $16. Each artist can enter up to 2 paintings. All paintings will sell for $95 beginning Saturday morning, not before. If your painting sells you agree to donate at least $45 of the proceeds to BWS. The remaining $50 will go to the artist. You may choose to donate more or all the proceeds to BWS, please check or fill out the amount below. If your painting does not sell you can pick it up at the end of the show.
Entry Procedures
- The BWS Small Works Show is open to all BWS member artists, professional or amateur.
- Artwork must be mounted in the frame and mat purchased unmodified from BWS (no wiring required).
- Your entry must be your own original artwork – no reproductions. No limitations on materials.
- Attach display label on the back left side with artist name and title.
- Deliver your entry, completed entry form and display label provided to the Azan Temple on Friday, Feb. 16, 9:00-10:00am.
- Provide artist name and title to Carol Hawkins, carol.hawkins2008@comcast.net or call 970-618-2742, by February 10 in order to print display labels before the show. Contact Carol if you have any questions.
