DESCRIPTION:As part of Brevard Watercolor Society’s exciting collaboration with Michael Harding Paints\, BWS is hosting a hybrid online / in person workshop for its members and other local watercolor artists at the Azan Center in Melbourne. \nJoin us for a fun and inspiring creative experience! We’ll begin with a special Zoom session featuring a Michael Harding spokesperson\, who will introduce their beautiful line of watercolor paints\, share insights into what makes them so unique\, and take questions from the audience. \nAfter the online presentation\, Therese Ferguson will guide us through a live demonstration\, highlighting the special qualities of these vibrant paints. Then it’s your turn to explore! After a break for lunch\, enjoy hands-on “make-and-take” activities where you can experiment and create using Michael Harding’s rich\, luminous colors. \nRegister now as space is limited. \nAbout Michael Harding Paints\nMichael Harding is world-renowned for creating paints of extraordinary color strength\, vibrancy\, and longevity. Michael Harding Watercolours combine pure pigments\, gum arabic and honey to create colors of remarkable clarity\, strength and luminosity. SUMMARY:Splash! of Watercolor Art Show 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Brevard Watercolor Society’s annual art show\, “Splash! of Watercolor”\, will be held Saturday and Sunday\, February 14th and 15th\, 2026\, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm both days. This event will take place at the Azan Shriners Center\, 1591 W. Eau Gallie Boulevard\, Melbourne\, FL. Admission and parking are free. \n“Splash! of Watercolor” features the largest exhibit and sale of watercolor paintings in Brevard County. Nearly 100 local artists\, many who have state and nationally-acclaimed works\, will be represented at the show. Student artwork from local colleges and high schools will also be presented. \nOriginal\, framed artwork will be available for sale in the main hall. Prints\, cards\, and unframed originals will also be available for sale in the adjacent Artists’ Marketplace. Ongoing activities include raffle baskets\, silent auction\, and a paint-around with participants finishing each other’s paintings which are available for sale. \nSeveral demonstration events are scheduled throughout the weekend (click here).
