SUMMARY:Mini Workshop - January 28\, 2023:  All Level Weaving with Barbara Rios
DESCRIPTION:FIRST WORKSHOP OF THE YEAR –\nBarbara Rios  be leading the January 28 workshop on Weaving. Not only will basic weaving be shown\, but more advanced weaving with a variety of shapes will be demonstrated. \n**New instruction:  on two 8″x8″ pieces of watercolor paper\, draw a simple object (butterfly\, flower\, fish\, etc.) on one and trace it to the other sheet. Paint one. Bring both sheets. \nMaterials: bring  several “failed” paintings to trade\, cut up or use the backs to paint on; scissors\, glue (Yes\, Elmers\, etc)\, masking tape\, clear tape\, and a ruler.  If you want to experiment\, bring unusual things you may want to weave into your piece (yarn\, leaves \, etc.)   Think outside the box! \nBring something to eat and drink. AND your regular watercolors supplies.
