DESCRIPTION:Brevard Watercolor Society presents “FLORA & FAUNA AT THE REFUGE”\nJANUARY 4\, 2027 – MARCH 28\, 2027\nThis is a show BWS has done in partnership with the Merritt Island National Refuge beginning 24 years ago\, showcasing watercolor paintings featuring the flora and fauna seen in and around the refuge. The show is displayed at the refuge’s Visitors Center. \nExamples from last year below\, click to enlarge: \n\nThe show is scheduled when visitors from all over the world flock to the area during prime birding months\, and for the Space Coast Birding & Wildlife Festival. \nCategories for participating artists include: \nFLORA – trees\, plants\, flowers\, landscapes\nFAUNA – any animal\, bird\, water animals\, bugs – anything that breathes\nLANDSCAPES – on land and water \nArtists interested in participating may click the links below:
